What a success! The turnout was great. Guests were warmly welcomed with coffee and flan. And for the enthusiasts there was also a beer. In short, each of the evenings was instructive and enjoyable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The following topics were discussed during the info evenings:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Smart use of the balancing scheme;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Minimization of feed-in costs;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Choosing the right energy contract;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Optimization with home batteries;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Making money with a home battery;<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>The benefits of combinations (heat pump, solar panels and home battery).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Our partner The Sustainable Mortgage Advisor gave a great presentation on financing from mortgage lenders. A set of &#8220;BirdBlockers&#8221; was also raffled off among the guests. These protect the solar panels from birds building nests between the roof tiles and the panels.
