What is SGZE?
SGZE stands for Solar and Energy Guarantee Fund Foundation. This fund protects consumers who invest in renewable energy against unexpected risks. Think of situations in which a supplier goes bankrupt, a project is not completed or you have nowhere to turn with complaints after installation.

You are making a substantial investment in renewable energy. That requires confidence. Thanks to SGZE, you can be sure that your down payment is protected, even if something goes wrong. In the unlikely event that a project does not go ahead through the fault of the installer (e.g. in case of bankruptcy), SGZE guarantees compensation of up to 30% of the down payment, with a maximum of €3,000. - Retention of manufacturer’s warranty
Should a malfunction occur after installation and your installer is no longer available in the meantime, SGZE will ensure that you are still helped. Your factory warranty remains valid and you remain entitled to service or replacement parts. - Fair, Independent Complaint Resolution
As a customer of an SGZE member company, you always have access to an independent dispute resolution committee. This ensures a fair solution without you having to take legal action yourself. This provides peace of mind and clarity.
