At The Sustainable Boys, we help individuals and businesses make their energy consumption more sustainable with smart total solutions. To expand our team, we are looking for a versatile Sustainability Engineer who enjoys making a real impact in the field.
What will you do?
As a sustainability technician you will work on various sustainable installations at private and business customers. You will ensure a safe, neat and properly functioning installation. Depending on your experience and preferences, you will work on such things as:
- Installing and connecting heat pumps (hybrid or all-electric)
- Mount and connect solar panels to inverters or home batteries
- Construction or modification of electrical installations
- Installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems
- Insulation work (small scale or in cooperation with partners)
- Smart control (home automation/home energy management systems)
- Explaining to customers about their sustainable installation
What do you bring?
- Experience as an installer or technician within electrical, plant engineering or HVAC
- Knowledge of at least one of the systems: heat pumps, PV, ventilation or air conditioning
- In possession of driving license B
- VCA and/or F-gases certificate (or willing to obtain it)
- Solution-oriented, customer-friendly and independent
- Eager to learn and enthusiastic about sustainability
Extra points if you have experience with:
- Multiple sustainable technologies (heat pump, PV, battery, air conditioning, ventilation)
- Electrical engineering or home automation
- Setting up systems and troubleshooting failures
- Communication with customers or work preparation
