Solar panels, air conditioning and home battery in Rotterdam
At De Duurzame Jongens, we are super proud of our recent project in Rotterdam, where we were able to make a beautiful home more sustainable. Together with the residents, we came up with a number of smart solutions to improve their energy consumption and give the environment a helping hand.
Solar panels: generating solar energy
Our guys equipped the home with 14 Longi Full Black solar panels, which are fitted with advanced Enphase IQ8MC micro-inverters. This combination efficiently converts solar energy into electricity, allowing the residents to take full advantage of the sun’s power.
Home battery: storing solar energy
To make even better use of the generated energy, we also installed an Enphase IQ 10T battery. This battery allows the customer to store self-generated energy and use it at any time. This means that the residents are now not only dependent on the grid, but can also rely on their own renewable energy during peak hours or when the sun is not shining.
Air conditioning: energy-efficient heating and cooling
A great example of optimal use of this self-generated energy is the new Daikin Perfera air conditioner. This versatile air conditioner not only provides cooling during the hot summer months, but can also be used to heat the home during colder periods. This provides year-round comfort, all powered by the green power they have generated themselves.
This housing sustainability project in Rotterdam is a fantastic example of how sustainable solutions can help achieve a greener future.
