De Duurzame Jongens from Sittard—celebrating our 7th anniversary this year—is rooted in a love for our people, the environment, and the Earth.
We make homes and businesses fully sustainable: home batteries, heat pumps, solar panels, air conditioners, and home management systems. Not as standalone products, but as a single system that works together, with generation, storage, consumption, and control all coordinated.
We operate based on strict KPIs, including financial ones. Because you can only stay sharp if you know where you stand. Yes, the pace is fast. The market is moving quickly, and we’re moving with it. But we’re still people, not just numbers.

What will you do?
- Review the checks and emails from the previous day
- Update Bank: Bank entries processed and reconciled
- Financial inboxes up to date: everything has been read and replied to
- Pending items from yesterday were completed or carried over
Morning coffee is the foundation.
Your regular duties
- Processing Purchase and Sales Invoices
- Checking Shipping and Delivery Documents
- Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable records
- Preparing Payments and Payment Batches
- Verify and Process Bank Transactions
- Processing Memo Entries
Cash Flow Management and Customer Relations
- Follow up on outstanding items; communication is frequent via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
- Involving customers in custody accounts, financing, and payment arrangements
- Support with Grant and Financing Processes
- Up-to-date and clear figures
- Get everything ready and in order so that management can check in
- Analyze and report on cash flow, margins, and outstanding items
- Identify and Report Anomalies by Performing the Proper Cross-Checks
- Developing financial issues into concrete recommendations
- Preparing for and assisting with the month-end closing
You're not in this alone
- Direct lines of communication with management: you can reach them immediately, without any intermediaries
- It’s always okay to ask questions—that’s how you’ll improve faster in this field than by reading a textbook. And you’ll do it more effectively.
- We’re automating our processes; you help us figure out the next step
- You identify areas where processes can be streamlined or optimized
What are we looking for?
- MBO Level 3 or 4 in a financial or business administration program
- At least 2 years of experience in a financial or administrative role is preferred
- Experience with accounting software, preferably Exact Online
- You work with precision and in an organized manner
- You’re not afraid to pick up the phone when there’s an unanswered call
- You take action, don’t wait around, and raise the alarm in a timely manner
- A desire to learn and the courage to contribute ideas
- Experience with grants and funding is a plus
